Redux certainly looks great, I’m struggling to get it to work for me, anyone out there got any tips or basic tutorials to get me up and running? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Hey JMC! Glad you like where we’re going with Redux! If you’re having issues with it, please feel free to contact myself or Dovy through either the Redux site itself or on github and we’ll be happy to assist!

Thanks ThemeRox, I’ve been in touch with @ghost1227 and @dovy across at Redux, they’ve done a great job with Redux and now my themes are getting pulled together with the framework. Very simple to use once you have it up and running. Cheers for your input.

OptionTree is not so great with XML Import/Export Plugin.

How do other frameworks deal with this issue?

You should check out Vafpress Framework. It has lots of options, metaboxes and a shortcodes generator included.

Vafpress Framework is really good. Specially I like there Google font field and There design and features really awesome. Just one things is not right there ColorPicker. They should use wordpress native ColorPicker.

@CantoThemes, you really should try Redux. Our typography module is the best out there. Auto Google Webfonts with enqueuing the proper scripts in the header for you. Supports all Google Webfonts variations. You can even provide the CSS selectors and it outputs the typography CSS for you.

Did we mention that the developer behind NHP just closed down shop and joined team Redux? Welcome Lee Mason to the team!

Great things are on the horizon. Even if you don’t want to switch, at least give Redux a try.

Also, just added extensive documentation for getting up and running here: http://reduxframework.com/docs

Haven’t quite documented all of the fields yet, but we’re getting there.

I think you’ll be shocked by the features.

P.S. Full customizer support coming alone with Meta box integration and a panel builder. ;)

Full disclosure: I am one of the lead developers of Redux. (@dovy)

@canto @dovy, Dovy you know my thoughts, Redux is an awesome tool, I don’t think I’ve ever used a plug before that when I had an issue I was able to speak directly to one of the lead devs who was able to sort out my problems super fast. I’m now using Redux on all Wordpress builds that are coming out of the Pocapoc Stable. Again, awesome job guys, thanks, JMC
