ah…gotcha, I think collaborations are a good idea, but I could see problems with the logistics of the commissions, etc…

The author doesnt actually provide the collaborating file for purchase but merely uses it in their preview to enhance the look etc of their file and expresses that A, B & C are from author John Smith So the money you make is yours but it also may result in extra sales for the author/s of the files you have used in your preview…this is negotiated before hand of course
As a buyer, finding that the file you just purchased looks nothing like the preview can be really annoying. I don’t see the point of authors doing that at all.

Hehe.. What if, just some idea..
You buy a 50x license for a graphic.. and use it in a template on TF, and then, when you reached 50 sales, you again purchase the 50x license
But ofcourse, this would be unable to be tracked by the reviewers.

Perhaps there could be a way to have a linked feature. Such as you buy a icon or whatever from GR and use it on a theme and sell it on TF. You then fill out a form or something that will link the artist you bought the icon from to your product and they get a certain amount depending on the price of the icon. Just an idea, any thoughts?

I agree, having other authors files only in the preview, with the instructions of “you need to purchase these other files to make it like…” would make the purchase process way to complicated.
I can definitely see a lot of “What?! I didn’t notice I needed these other files to make it look like the demo…I want my money back…”
