Yes ! That’s the great idea in fact..integrate custom metaboxes with post format..that’s good and reliable way.

And what if customer decided to change the theme? all values defined in non-standard custom fields will not be available for the new theme.

+1 don’t use custom meta boxes.

okay so what can i do now ? and the normal any theme have custom options with metaboxs or shortcodes or others .
