I just had a little question,
I want to make some template items and so on but i want to fill the templates with content, can i use free icons that are availible on the web to put on the template
An example is for the site design i did based off a tutorial, i know i can sell this actual piece, as it is based of a tutorial but as an example
The icons are free for comersial work as well,

i know i can sell this actual piece, as it is based of a tutorial but as an exampleI guess you meant can’t. Am sure Envato would be ok with it as long as the license says it’s ok to include them in works for sale. To be on the safe side, e-mail the authors and credit them in your work where necessary.

I don’t know themeforest rules (because that’s where you are supposed to sell site mockups). As far as GR is concerned, you can’t use ANY outside asset unless it is specifically licensed for resale (which is not the same as commercial) OR you have written permission from the author.

a big part of my work is making icons so i will just make my own set for the purpose of my mockups.
would i just show them in the preview and not in the actual file for sale then sell teh icon pack as it own item, or would people expect to get them included and if they are included do you think in would effect the price of teh product!
