HI, I just bought a few images to use them on my website/blog, do I have to add a coypright notice somewhere on the site? Furthermore, as I have a hard time understanding the license terms, it is ok to use the images for this purpose when I don’t use a resolution higher than 1000px. Thanks for your help & time in advance.

Adding a copyright notice is one way of protecting yourself and a nice thing for the photographer to get a credit, but it is not a requirement. The image size would not be greater than 1,000px some photographers prefer 600px on the longest side.
