vCard feedback wanted

Hey all,

why we wants to know your opinion is because we recieved two totally different opinions from two reviewers, actually first one was for PSD template – It’s very nice, just code it and it is ready to go for sell … But, after coding, item was rejected twice …

Could you please tell us your opinion, or suggestions how to improve our template?

Honestly, this is very poor.

The graphics, layout, typography, I would go back to the drawing board.

Hello, No, it is neither poor nor fantastic. It combines both–poorness and fantasticness:)) What I mean is if you will keep on your unusual shape and rework in drastic way typography and graphic elements which currently executed really badly you can reach fine result. Shadows on graphic elements need total rework. Heavy gradients must be trashed. You need to make graphics very clean, without effects which now just spoil your good idea. And typography–fonts, justified text, font colours–all require work.

Now is about very important thing unrelated to design. vCard is not just a small website. It is different. You ignore the essentia of vCard–the things which distinguish small website from vCard. You do not use micro data, downloadable vCard (what people download and add directly to their address book) is absent. Without these things vCard is not vCard, it is a small size website. I hope you will think about these my words.

I wish you good luck, I frankly think that you yet can make a bonbon out of what you have done up to now. Tanya.

• the text is dirty and I don’t understand why not make it perfect readable and typographic unique
• the texture is overdue and using it for all elements is again a mistake
• all elements having shadows is nice, especially over some texture, but in your page looks very very bad
• glows applied to any text is very old approach, especially for logos
• quite a futuristic look I would say, need LOTS of improvements.

Agreed with Tanja (very constructive comment), a split second before it all loaded i was “wow” and then hmmm… to much effects simply sad.
