... small price increase … We felt that this increase was the perfect balance between helping our authors earn more and still being a great value for buyers. When authors earn more, they’re able to spend more time creating great files, so it’s a win/win for everyone!

Thank you!

my suggestion is most of the items categories need an overhaul in the item pricing.

I totally agree my friend. This is a good start though. Many categories have recently received a small price buff such as mockups. Though the new items should continue to be priced according to the new standards and not underpriced again. One thing that might actually help towards the right direction imho, is to allow the authors to propose a price when they submit their items for review justifying their price with a few reasons.

Add-ons also contains many times illustrations, textures, patterns, im not talking about all, but plenty.

You are absolutely right. There are many inconsistencies like this regarding several item categories in the marketplace for example mockups are priced as static renders though in most of them you may customize everything (so they are like infinite different renders of a basic theme from the same angle). They should definitely start looking on these kind of issues as well.

So now vectors are more expensive than facebook covers?...

And what about increasing $1 print templates?

Well as vector illustrator my experience is that only to make a worthy preview is taking 5-fold the time here in GR in comparison with other marketplaces as well as making your file more versatile. So any rise in prices is welcomed as long as it doesn’t have an effect in sales… Only time will tell about the latter, there are a lot of agencies out there with lower “pay as you go” prices, size/price options and subscription plans.
