I just recently purchased the theme “verse” by Turkhitbox and in the theme options I select all the options I would like, then press “Save All Changes” and it just reverts back to the defaults. Please any help is much appreciated as the developer has stopped all support for his themes for the last few months and I’m stuck, thanks guys

Hi! This is a general ThemeForest forum. The author stops supporting his product, that’s so sad. :(

Asking here is wrong, no one knows how those theme built, so can’t answer how to fix. The best way to do is hire a developer and fix.

Thanks, Enjoy TF’ing.

I got told by themeforest to ask here as I messaged them as well, plus I shouldn’t have to hire someone else. If I wanted to pay someone else to do it I would have done that from the start

can’t be true – support is not mandatory, and I can’t imagine themeforest wants other authors to help you out for free. if the file does not work, contact envato for a credit to buy another theme.

maybe envato support, if we are talking about them off course, advised the buyer to ask for advice on themeforest forums. Nothing wrong with that.

the marketplace works like this, all items are verified by a professional reviewer that make sure the product do what the description say it does. Authors are not obligated in any way to provide support or have any kind of contact with buyers. But in general, we answer and we try to help if someone have a problem or something.

Now if you have problems with the theme and doesn’t work as advertised (or for any other issue) you can contact the only official support at this link: http://support.envato.com/

They will verify your claims and if the issue is true they will contact the author and ask him to update the item and/or they will issue a refund.

All items for sale on ThemeForest are reviewed to ensure they are in good working order and are easy to use. Further item support such as alterations is at the discretion of each author. You’ll find that the ThemeForest forum is also a good place to find help for using or modifying items.
here

I can imagine that this formulation can be a little confusing. To me it says that asking here on the forum for general help is OK though you can’t expect support as a natural course. (not sure if I used the correct translation here)

I’m not a WP expert but try the following
Read all item comments, maybe someone mentioned a solution.
Have you installed the theme on a fresh WP install? WP versions supported mentioned in the item description.
Maybe some plugins are interfering. disable them an re-activate them one by one.

Well, thats all I know. As I said I’m not a WP expert so hopefully this will get you a step closer to solving your problem :-)
