I wanted to buy a $5 script but I have to load my account with a minimum of $20? Nevermind. I’ll just find another script I can purchase for only the asking price.

You can buy it for 7 USD using your paypal account. I’m sure that it will still being a nice price..
The problem was that I added the script to my cart and created a new account after. It doesn’t show the alternate option unless you are already logged in. Thanks for the reply.

Hi JGladwill,
Both options still require a buyer to create an account. This is so a buyer can post comments on the item and also receive free updates to any purchased items.
Best of luck with your project.

I understand that. I just didn’t see the +$2 option because it was bypassed when I had to sign in or make a new account. After I created an account and the item was still in my cart, there was no place for me to find the +$2 option.
I’d also rather just see the real price instead of the ‘before surcharge’ price or having to load my account with more money than I actually need. Was looking into Uber menu and saw $16. Turns out, it’s either $20 or $18. Don’t plan on purchasing anything else. Why not make it simple and put the real price? I’m sure $18 is still worth it but after seeing the $16 price tag, well, seeing $18 just made me change my mind even though it’s just $2. Little things like this do impact sales. Just saying.
As an Author I agree.
In fact codecanyon seems to do a very good job of making it difficult for customers to buy applications (prepaid credits, retarded captcha system, no notice for new versions, no upgrade pricing options, no way of contacting customers etc).
If there were a better place to list my items I would, unfortunately there isn’t…..
