how hard is to learn Edius, Misel?

Very easy Daniel, i working since version 2 (v5.50 current). The best thing is that Edius is very stable (almost excellent) and very fast. When version 3 come out Edius was only who was capable to EDIT MPEG2 in real time (since premiere and others) except SonyVegas could not do that. Edius is great editing software and very easy to learn.

+ 1 for GV EDIUS ;) It’s still not very popular but definitely one of the best video editing software, pretty similar to Final Cut and even much faster, but yet works on PC only and not very known in North America… Very friendly to learn and goes in a perfect bundle…

I’m a big fan of the Logitech G11 . It’s cheap and backlit and there’s 18 extra macro keys on the left that can be assigned macros or functions (per application). There’s three bank levels for the 18 keys, so for each application you have 54 extra keys you can use. You can assign keyboard shortcuts “CTRL+ALT+T” to a single key or record a set of keystrokes that can be played back at full speed or with the user pauses between keystrokes matched.

For more complicated things, I use Macro Express (http://www.macroexpress.com/index.htm) and assign Macro Express macros to the G11 macro keys. With Macro Express, you can respond to system events (a single pixel changing color on the screen, a file being created in a directory, etc) so you can pretty much automate anything.

Oh wow! I’m so getting the after effects one!

And I thought this was going to be more than a keyboard, just imagining a keyboard that is 4 feet long having the knobs and scrolling balls to edit with would be expensive
