Hi – we’ve been asking for this for the last 2 years; most other ae template sites have the ability to automatically play a preview video clip when mousing over, vs having to make multiple clicks to see the preview video. Will VH have video preview auto-play clips sometime soon, Mark? (or other envato staff). It would likely help increase sales a lot, since it would cut the number of clicks in half and show preview videos easier for us buyers.

Yes… whatever happened to video rollovers? I’ve pretty much given up on it.
I’m guessing that it’s something to do with server load, as the code can’t be spectacularly difficult to implement.
Videohive is growing quickly. It must be bringing in significantly more revenue than 12 months ago, so it would be nice to think that some development / extra bandwidth were possible. The problem is otherwise that Videohive stays the most popular stock video site, not by offering the best service, but by offering the lowest prices. This is a good strategy until someone steps up and undercuts you.

streaming video w/s3 amazon is easy, it’s probably a lot of additional coding workload to convert the site cms structure to enable that (and handling the different video preview sizes); just wanted to ask if there’s an eta on implementation, and if that’s still in progress?
