Not sure whether this has been a topic before, however: for me ratings of my files are very important and I think that a 4 star rating is a signal to have a closer look at why an item received such a rating. Still, I come across the problem that when I look at my profile page and I see that I have received 4 new ratings, I’m not able to see which items were rated and with what ratings exactly. Without having the ability to anticipate on prior ratings you can only hope that items will not receive a 4 star rating eventually!

Therefore, I would like to ask AD to consider having a simple list of ratings besides the existing income statement. That list will then show something like:

Date: 22 Jan 10

Amount: 4/5

Detail: Glowing Buttons #1 received a 4 star rating. Current file average is 4.55/5

This would be perfect, even if it just shows the ratings you have received over the last month or week. Anyone else interested in this feature?

its interesting that 4 stars is perceived as bad here, yet for example on the itunes app store even the most popular apps are lucky to have even 3.

Yes that’s quite a thing, but it is the way it is, and we’ve got to roll with it. Meaning that 5-star files will have a head start over 4-star files on first impressions.

@wm I like this idea.

Yes, I would like this data and also all the stats about every single file:

For every file:

1: today sales (link to a detailed graph)

2: this week sales (link to a detailed graph)

3: total hits today (link to a detailed graph)

4: unique visitor (link to a detailed graph)

5: how many times the file has been bookmarked on AD

6: how many times the file page has been bookmarked using the browser

7: in how many collection the file is (link to the list of the collections)

8: real rating, not rounded (link to the complete rating history)

This is what I would like for every file… everybody is free to add other stat that can be useful :-)

+4311 :)! It is hard to interpret results without having a management dashboard! Also, this could help in the endless “are sales low?” topics, since e.g. visitor / sales ratios will tell something about whether it’s the month, decreasing traffic or just a poor product :)! I really really really really would want those options :)!

All authors want 5 stars for their (our) files. In fact, mostly of the popular files (hundreds) are 5 stars rated. As far as i can get, this rating system is nonsense.
