Guys i will launching a audio/video streaming website, my concern is how much traffic can handle shared webhostings normally, my website will have video/mp3 upload feature that use ffmpeg for file conversions. So shared hosting can handle it or i have to go for VPS, if vps then any best cheap price vps hosting you guys know please share.

Thanks

For something like video and audio streaming speed is essential. A video taking it’s time to buffer will ensure you lose most of your traffic, leaving a bad memory for them with it.

Depending on your traffic estimations, and the amount of video you will store it depends on hosts. I would stay away from shared hosting though, will not help you succeed at all.

Their VPS look quite smart, if you want cheap unmanaged VPS :)

No WHM or cPanel as far as I can tell, they just have their admin panel and a ‘console’ browser maintenance option.
