Good morning all. Waiting the wacom bamboo pen and touch medium. Anyone has it ? Any tips or hints ? I wish i could buy intuos or cintiq, but not for my pocket atm.
:/
ok, ok… i have an Intuos and i can say that i absolutely love it. First time i thought it was a mistake, because a bamboo would be enough for me, but then i realised its absolutely different. There is only 1 thing i dont like is the battery. It runs out very quickly, so even its wifi, i always have to prepare with the wire. And the charging time is quiet long. Touch mode is slightly different, compare to the touchpad/magic trackpad. But absolutely works well. Scratches: i dont know how about this modell is there a screen protector on it or not, but i did not find a proper answer for this, so im gonna buy it soon a screen protector, because the scratches are very obvious on it, even just after few hours.
Thanks for the reply mate, it was quite handy. Especially the screen protection thing.

Quick question what you need a wacom for what is it good for ? just corious since I dont have one and never seen work done with it.
Here is my list:
Clipping paths and masking: Try with a pen, you never want to do this with mouse anymore
Drawing and painting just like on paper: obviously the best and most precise results so far
Retouching Photos: just like the first one, but i dont retouching often
Vector based drawing / esp. comic style: If you scan your draw and convert to vector it will be never based on bezier. More over pain in the ass to separate the shapes, so its just so different and proper to draw the lines, and you get exactly what you wanted.
