Some top tips I can give you

1) Keep WordPress and your plugins updated to the latest versions.

2) Use this http://wordpress.org/plugins/better-wp-security/ ( provides most of the basic options )

3) Monitor file changes on your server using something like this : https://www.codeguard.com/

Since you are already hacked you could use something like this http://sucuri.net/ to start cleaning up the mess. Good Luck

Do these 3 basic things that i tell you, and im sure, no one will ever hack your site again.

1. DOnt use wordpress version 3.4.2 , it has security flaws. Always update your wp version to the latest

2. Install “bulletproof security” and “wordpress firewall 2” plugins.

3. Dont put easy to remember passwords for cpanel. I have had many bitter experiences by putting my cpanel passwords as pass1234, or pa551234 etc. DONT use these passwords if you are on a cpanel hosting. (with godaddy u can use even passwords like 123456, lol )

THATS IT!!

Basically, just #2 is enough. Installing those 2 plugins will protect you beautifully!

Well basically this is a cPanel hack, I have always taken extra care in protecting my wordpress. But yeah, the hacker has changed my cPanel password, and now Im trying to contact support to get it back.
And my password was computer generated. The ones that look something like &?#fot~(Vi^O . So I’m not sure where the flaw was.
