Hi everybody,I am building my theme in Wordpress 3.0, all went fine until I put it on my live server and got like 20 lines on the top of all pages that error:
Warning: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Compilation failed: nothing to repeat at offset 1 in /homez.116/.../wp-includes/classes.php on line 210.
After some research on google, I wrote that it is a common problem on WP 3 .0 and the only way to get it works is to play with the permalink settings and everything come back to normal as it did for me. But as soon as I put my permalink setting
/%category%/%postname%/ back and modify even just a word in a page I got that crapy error again…
The only fear I have with that is if a customer upload my theme he will get that too, so if anybody here has the same problem, could you please share you experience and how you did deal with it.
By the way, I created 2 custom post type with a rewrite rules, so I think that could be the problem…
Hope somebody can help me.
All the best.
Yeah I remember that post, but I am not sure if this error comes from that, plus I don’t really like using a plugin but I’ll give it a try.
The only thing that suck is the fact that all categories will be together.
