This is true manny companies use IE. This is caused by the fact that most of their users don’t know much about computers and use the pre installed IE.Not quite
I work in a corporation and I can tell you the reason: internal tools and apps.
Big companies have corporate contracts with MS. IT departments use MS software and they’re kinda forced into supporting IE and IE only (because, for example, Sharepoint simply can’t work right in Gecko/Webkit).
And though some companies make efforts in upgrading systems to only support newer IE versions, it’s still IE what their employees use.
Add a customized infrastructure to that (like stripping MS software features for security reasons) and you can see it’s not about their employees actually![]()
