Right, something that might interest many of us.

I am trying to broaden my scope of different web technologies, present and future. By technologies I mean anything from new standars/languages to new formats, hardware advances etc.

So this thread is basically for anyone who wants to discuss everything from Attention Profiling Mark-up language and the new aspects of HTML in HTML5 such as web workers, local caching etc. down to decentralized torrent setups (note that torrenting in itself is not illegal and I would appreciate if we’d stick to the legal side of download discussions for obvious reasons.).

So I found the APML link as part of a comment here. It’s an interesting little video where Eric Schmidt discusses the net of the future and technologies that might rank user generated content such as tweets.
