hey, I want to get a laptop that I can use on the go, at the moment I spend a good 3 to 4 hours on trains etc.. and I want to be able to get a laptop that will make my travel a little easier!

I was wondering if any of you guys have a laptop that has a good battery life and can handle the core programs e.g. photoshop, sublime etc..

Thansk for any suggestions!

I use a MacBook Air since 2010 for webdesign. Noting comes close to it.

the new macbook pro with retina display but since it has the same graphics card as the Air. the extra money for the pro is not worth it if you are need it mainly for webdesign.

I’ve always used Dell laptops. Great value for money and very powerful with the right config.

Nice to see a dell comment, anyone else use windows os or is it all mac still, I use windows at home and mac at uni and to be honest I havent noticed any real differeances that will benfit me in webdesign apart from a few shortcuts.

To be honest I am a window user myself. I don’t see a huge advantage from using a mac computer. Aside from shortcuts to getting things done faster I feel like everything can be done with windows as well.

Besides that I have been using Windows for quite long now so I am comfortable enough with windows. But of course if you want the shortcuts advantage you can choose mac.
