Weekly feature

Maybe that’s a way to encourage authors that just started with videohive. Remember how featured authors were some time ago? It was way more personal, like a recognition of a work well done over a particular period of time. Now everybody is in rotation. It’s all about the even start. That’s good, I guess. I don’t feel damaged by not being featured. Appreciate you noting that EFEKT. I had my fair share under the spot lights, hehe

As someone who’s never had anything featured, I’ve always seen the featured items list as examples of high quality standard. No idea how they’re picked, but they should always be ATLEAST amazing.

Also front page exposure has become so little lately, new projects disappear by the end of the day, anything that puts you there for more than a day is crazy good, no matter how you look at it.

First off many of the authors here have had multiple weekly features, Elite and regular members alike. We need to spread the love a bit, feature new authors, and mix up the styles and types of files. I think every item that has been selected has shown signs of the “premium” type. It doesn’t matter if its a short logo resolve or a longer more involved project…if it looks good and is well executed then it can be featured.

We have done many double features in the past as well without any issue or backlash. But, now that i know it bothers some of you I wont double feature any author moving forward.

I’m belong to AJ, but problems the same here, as i see:) btw, i wonder, how such great author as Steve314, which was number one in both Top authors and files, still have no featured file:) Amazing

Steve314 has been featured in the past as a featured author. Im sure he will have his chance at a featured file in the future.

Okay… now I feel kinda bad been featured on Both platforms.

from my point of view, it’s not easy being a new author in VH it takes a long time to get noticed, when i got featured i was so excited! it was very encouraging to work harder. I know tube logo wasn’t the best work this week, hell its not my best work but that makes me so motivated to do more !

One more thing, i don’t think my project deserves that beating down, maybe it’s not blow your mind, but it is a good project

Why not? You guys are sitting here complaining about it. Are you not?

On another note. For an author like yourself (successful & popular in the marketplace) that just had an item featured a few weeks ago, I really dont get the reason for this thread coming to fruition in the first place.

I like your tubes ofcourse- there will always be better projects …otherwise we will never get better! and negative comments are only needed when asked I agree.
