Weekly Featured Item

Hi Friend, Today i noted the weekly featured item slider, So i want to know their is many professional themes/work but what is the criteria to featured your work in Weekly Featured item.

I know their many authors work featured in main page but how they featured their work.

“helping unique themes stand out” Why Helping unique themes and how, Not clear to me

Because why would you want to promote a theme that has been copied and duplicated many times? Duplicates are not something that you want to promote yourself as a marketplace with. Niche themes ( as the current on themeforest ) and unique products are what make a marketplace valuable.

How are they promoting them? 4 weeks of prime display area on the frontpage. the normal user reads a website from top to bottom and left to right, so that area is a prime area when viewing the website. We have a featured product, and i wanna share that it helped a lot.

Also i have seen a promotion for items that already sell a lot, to promote them so they sell even more, even if the theme is not unique, so what i said above is not always a rule.

This is how i see things, i may be wrong.

Other than item value, there are many criteria here. Many times I see the entire feature section is to encourage relatively new author’s work, so that every author gets opportunity to get featured; equal distribution

its more of a unique item on featured list and it has nothing to do with the sales made by that item i have seen many featured item with are unique but could’t make much sales.

Here and there, this also happens to balance out things! It is a touch job though to keep on featuring files every week in such a way to avoid complaints!

Dudes you mean, I design are unique then it will more change to take place in featured area.
