Hello guys,

I have a really strange situation. I am using a font (Lobster) from the Google Font APi and for some reason it is not working in Chrome?

Do you have any idea what could be possibly wrong?

Thank you in advance!

I’ve used that font before, and it works fine on Chrome. Can you paste in some source code?

Hello Jeffrey,

The code is the standard code from the API . Just the CSS inclusion and the class in the stylesheet

Here is a link to the WIP (I hope it’s not against the rules)

It looks like it’s the font version. With your version it works. With lobster Two and the code from Google – not.

I had this problem before, it appears only when the font is installed on your PC/mac.

Quick and dirty pseudo-solution: delete the font from your machine and the problem will be gone.

I have this font also installed on my machine (Win7) and still have no issues viewing that particular font with any of my browsers (incl. chrome).

So there must be another reason for that…

Nah, I just uninstalled it and it’s working fine now. Maybe we’re not running the same version of Chrome.
