What are some tips to get your item approved instead of rolling the dice?

What I’ve noticed is that there’s a 50/50 chance that one of my sounds will either get approved or rejected, usually without a clear reason why when it gets rejected. So, what works for you when trying to getting a sound or music track accepted? Staff, feel free to answer so I understand your quality standards better.
