What are the standard to code a WP theme?

I’m curious about the way that a WP theme must be coded for TF. I mean, if I code in my own way (following the syntax of WP Codex, of ourse) is enough to get an item aproved?

Then all input fields must have at least wpautop and wptexturize on them. and.. hmm… um.. an official list always updated could be good.
