Hello, currently I am developing a child theme for the default twentyfourteen theme.

Can I sell it?

Of course if I can I will have to give credit where credit is due. I cannot seem to find a clear answer.

I doubt you would get away with that plus I am not sure why you would do that over creating a proper stand alone theme?

I had seen elsewhere people hiring designers to do exactly that. Wasn’t sure so I figured I would ask. Thanks.

I could be wrong but as child themes exist for 2014 and its easy to make another version, then unless you plan to make drastic differences to it then I would be 99% sure it wouldn’t get accepted.
