What can I do to improve this?

Hey guys I just wanted to know from you guys what can I do to improve this theme. It got rejected but i know there has to be a problem or something with the theme. It works and every browser and so on and has 4 colors. What should I do or add typography, layout, and etc wise?

Note: I’m not mad it got rejected I just would like to know how I can improve it. Im up for all types of comments so Let me have it.

On a widescreen monitor, the background is not continous. Black on grey or pink is not readable at all.

+1 Pay attention to margins and padding. There is like 80px between the header and the content, 10px between the main content and the sidebar, and 50px between sidebar items. Try to even those out. Additionally, the images in the blog posts don’t have even margins…looks like 7px on the left and 4 on the right, plus the text isn’t aligned with the left of the image.

As far as the colors, the sidebar is unreadable with black and gray text on a dark gray background.

Should be easy to fix. It’s a good start, and it should be a great theme with a little TLC !

Last questions guys I promise. Do you think this theme has potential? Like should I make more colors? or should I just fix it and leave it?

I really like the theme…I think you should stick with it. Having a few additional color options would likely boost sales.

BTW …where did you get your avatar…I see a lot of people here with similar anime-style avatars. Just wondering where they all come from!
