Hey,

I’ve been looking for a new computer desk for a while now, but after months I’m still unsure. I’d like to see what everyone else has, and links to purchase is possible :)

A slab of 3m kitchen worktop, a few batons screwed into the wall for support and a chrome leg. Around £100 all told (trade prices) and a bit of muscle.

In terms of luxuries, drilled a few 60mm holes and inserted some brushed chrome grommets to finish it off (maybe another £10). There are a few cable baskets screwed to the bottom that hold things like extention leads and USB hubs.

Will more than likely find an off-cut somewhere, stick a few chrome legs on the bottom and make a monitor shelf out of it. DIY’s your best bet

^ Looks great! I like the wall color, lighting and the dollies :) Of course the desk is interesting too ;)

By the way, I believe a good desk is a clean desk like what Christian has. I can never keep it this clean :)

@MhW — Nice workspace, but isn’t it annoying with the pole right between your legs?

Extremely. I’ve actually moved both monitors a few inches to the left and sit on the left side of the chrome leg. Haven’t found the time to buy another and place them at each third.

!Yeah nice workspace Mhw – mine is never this tidy!

It’s a shame I don’t have the room for something like this.

I have an ikea desk http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S99869218/ and I like the adjustable legs and the simple design.
