What Do you Buy Templates on Theme Forest For?

Just curious to what the majority of people do with the templates they purchased.

I’ve purchased a template just for a nice jQuery effect or maybe a nice icon set.

Only once have I purchased a template for a client.

Are you guys buying sites for clients? To learn? What?

My guess is most people on here will say inspiration…..

when in need for something that i can use. usually some graphics etc. never sold template from here to client yet.

The biggest reason I ask is the majority of the templates on here are for portfolios and such.

wonder what percentage of themes sold actually ever end up being used on the web?

would it high or low?

thousands have been sold, what has ever happened to them?
