From time to time, I get a little down, maybe even a little depressed. Maybe I’m feeling overwhelmed, or feel bad because I’m not doing well with my goals.
I follow a 2 steps formula:
1. Shower and groom myself. Simply showering, and feeling clean, can do wonders for me Instant pick me up!
1. I take a walk, going for a run or go to the gym.
I think I’m not alone in the room. Do you feel down sometimes? What do you do to cheer up yourself? Would you share some wisdom?

Couldn’t resist
Maybe selfish but think about how much better position you are in than the rest of the population. A lot of people are starving, have no place to live, etc. This will make you feel normal if you feel a little low.
Yes showering is great, make sure you do a long one.
I usually listen to music while working, but sometimes I need to listen to it while not doing anything else. No travelling, no working. Just lay in the bed, kill the light only leave ambient light if you want, close your eyes and listen to the music. I often fall asleep while doing that (around 8-10PM)
Sometimes I wake up or just sleep lightly I usually have good mini dreams sometimes I can control them in this light, music enhanced state. Make sure you get your good night’s sleep afterwards because this is not for the night.

It seems like a one-step formula (look at the numbers).
I also would rather feel depressed after doing some hard exercises in the gym, not before
.
Concerning the topic, music is the thing that saves me from sadness.
Turn off my PC and laptop, going into the park and watch people doing their activities.. it’s fun, just like watching a real life drama. I always feel sleepy after that, and back to my room – lay down in the bed and take a little time to sleep.
1. Never ever think you’re not good enough
2. Always give your best and never say you can’t do something.
3. Hear to some motivative music.
And I think the best motivation are happy clients

You really touched a hot spot here cause half of the year i’m depressed. Not because i have a problem with me and my work but for the simple reason that me and my family live in this country that makes your life feel like hell.
Plus i also get mad when i’m not able to acheave my goals.
And the thing that works best for me is a lot of exercises (running, push-ups, punching bag and so on).

And which country do you mean by saying this?
But now on topic: I just listen beautiful music when I feel frustrated. Or I take a walk, just sit down and watch television for example or do something distracting and just think it all comes well!

As a matter of fact, I’ve been feeling a little down due to an overwhelming number of creative ideas which I cannot seem to fullfill – at once. Really something you wouldn’t expect (people usually get frustrated when they have no ideas); but in my case, it’s really this vast amount of ideas that I cannot put into my time-schedule that is killing me.
I for one, try to focus on one thing; be it design-related, personal, a labor, what ever. If that doesn’t help, do something completely different – shut off your mind and watch a movie, something like that.
