Hi

Could you take a look at this ecommerce theme: http://diaboliquedesign.com/demo/10/

...and tell me which elements of design don’t look good for you?

Thanks in advance

Well, I tried 2 days ago (not first time) but without success :( Looks like there is a problem with details on the inner pages but I don’t know where.

Thanks for your time. I have received following feedback:

Many of the earlier issues all of us noted in our earlier reviews are still an issue.

As I mentioned, you simply need more attention to detail instead of feeling rushed into submission. For example, did you notice this in the checkout page? http://screencast.com/t/VQVRz7zd

Previous review:

You’re simply not focusing on the inner pages here. The blog, for example, looks a decade old. I’d really appreciate a little more initiative here.

I had mess in the blog (by mistake) but I have improved it.

...and another previous review:
1. The menu doesn’t look symmetric. I understand you’re trying fit the multiline sub-title but this needs to be executed far better. 2. This still feels messy: http://screencast.com/t/VT3mqQLQb7 3. The cart icon needs to be replaced with something better. Not very helpful. 4. Is the replication by design? http://screencast.com/t/Em5a1twDleSM

OK, here’s my comment on your reviewers notes. Check this out
  • Ok this form http://screencast.com/t/VQVRz7zd has some align issue, it needs the labels in the left side to vertical-align top, for instance “Country” – shows over USA and Florida (the user could ask himself where is the Florida country?). Also some better spacing could help a lot. Perhaps some borders would help breaking the vertical rhythm and force a more organized look (recommended for big forms).
  • About the blog page, I think you should try to force the content to use the same vertical alignment with main menu and footer. Read-more buttons are nice & interesting but don’t work.
  • on the last quote you pasted, you just have to rework those details the reviewer pointed out, you just have to give your best.
OK now my notes
  • Your paragraphs are too long, perhaps users feel scary with so much content.
  • The menu items text-align: center does not work in this case. It could work maybe if you have a centered logo and more centered elements. Also 2 rows menu item sub title is quite too much
  • on your homepage, those 4 columns based products content section don’t seem to have any title as a section and it should (maybe Featured products)
  • same as for paragraphs, break those product columns into more sub sections like featured, hot, latest, etc. Really shows some hierarchy and organization.
  • I think the pattern you used is overdue by now, you should find a more clean one

Well, there you go.. have fun!
