I think it’s great. Just like Windows 7, only with faster boot :)

I also like some appearance changes (ribbons, copy pasted window…).

there are some improvements under the hood for windows 8. win 7 is great but once you use win 8 for a couple of months you will miss some of the new features when you go back to a computer with the previous version.

I’ve tried windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and I am currently sitting here with a laptop running windows 8.

There are both good and bad things with the new windows, but most of it is really good if you read about it before raging about how stuff doesn’t work and why the ** windows did such a horrible system.

2 things that most people notice when they start is the new start screen and that there is no visible windows button on the left bottom corner as there has been on every other windows system (but hey click the corner and you can choose to go straight to the start screen or any of your open “apps”)..

One of the things that I like is how simple it is to install external hardware and how fast it loads everything. I got a quad-core processor from AMD, radeon dual graphic cards, 8 GB DDR3 internal memory and to be honest I think that it is the minimum for windows 8 if you want it to be that fast loading system they brag about.

I like it alot more than windows 7.. I’m going to buy the windows tablet and a nokia with windows as well..

Windows made a big progress and I believe that this system will live a bit longer than vista and 7!

Usually I’m a fan of big changes because I enjoy learning new interfaces. But I installed Windows 8 (on a Mac with Bootcamp) and personally did not like it. I did not think it was intuitive or efficient to use. But that’s just me, and it may be partially because I was not using a touch device.
