What do you think of this Metro Design?

Hi guys,

We developed a “metro style” wp theme: http://modern-stalkers.com/modern-ui/

It has a rather different design than most of the themes here, but this mainly because it strives for getting really close to the metro / windows 8 / modern ui design.

I really would like to hear your opinion, because the theme gets rejected with a feedback saying it’s not a good enough design.

i like amination in your design !

Some of the elements “break” with smaller screens; part of the navigation is behind the search form, and the “Support Forum”, “Online Documentation” and “Possibilities” boxes are all different sizes when the page is browsed with a smaller screen.

Otherwise, I also like the animations. Good luck!

Fonts are: Oswald & Carrois Gothic.

Blunny, we’ve worked very hard on responsiveness, and while it can always be further improved, I don’t think this is the issue of the item being rejected.

It seems TF Reviwer considers the overall design of insufficient quality. This is what I want a second opinion on!

After consulting with several professionals in the branch, including designers, I think your reviewer may have been subjective to the metro-style design of the theme, considering it in lack of potential.

I am concerned the reviewer has insufficient awareness of the windows 8 – style design trend. A trend to which ThemeForest.net has almost nothing to offer.

We are seeking a second staff opinion on our work, before we seize our efforts to publish our product at this particular marketplace.
