This is a really nice forum. Clean, simple, and efficient. What system did you guys use?

Yep, built from the groundup, it’s missing some of the things you find in full forum software, but it’s pretty decent! One day we’ll give it some upgrades :-)

Yeah, I was looking for a forum software like this but couldn’t find it and then someone told me it was custom made which explained a lot, I think the closest I have found to this system is Vanilla, http://getvanilla.com/ which is what FreelanceSwitch uses and now I use on some of my sites. Collis you should add another service to Envato, this forum software :)

Super Hacker Ryan wrote the code in Ruby on Rails.

Open sourcing the forum is an interesting idea – and we’ve already released some stuff which the dev’s need to blog about once they get a blog organized. But, I’m not sure how easy it would be considering its tightly integrated with the rest of the site. :)
