Thanks for the suggestions, I am in no way a web designer and have only limited skills – I did setup and customize the Furniture Shop theme – how hard was the Propulsion theme to use and transfer over too?

How much would it cost to complete the transfer Rayflores, I only have 50 products on my site.

Well, that all depends…on the look of the original…but overall not too difficult for an experienced developer…which may mean something more for yourself…

you would have to buy the theme first, but depending on your design needs, to port the entire site to a new theme is all of 4 hours. To put a price on it is difficult because of the variables involved (design changes, posts to products, merchant setups, shipping, etc…), so I will defer to gathering more info.

Its more the initial setup, I dont mind converting posts to products and entering content (the stuff that takes time) – more just having the back end sorted and paypal configured etc.

I’ve working with her for a over a year with a client site, have no idea what happened. We were having problems with the 2.1 theme version of the Clothes Shop and in October they just went off the map.

This has me really bummed, to put it nicely. The Jewelry Shop was a nice theme, and the support was great. I had an open ticket with Sarah to fix some bugs but then they stopped responding, and my emails to them bounced. I can’t believe they just disappeared without a heads up. Needless to say, I’ll never do business with Neuber again. My site still has bugs but I guess I’m SOL. Do any of you know of similar themes/standalone sites from companies that will be around for the long haul?

as stated earlier, most bugs are from wp upgrade to 3.5 I have found and squashed most… but there are still a few that slip by from time to time…and I am sure more will come… nothing major as long as you had 1.7 and 2.0 installed previous… the database still holds the info you need, it is just a matter of making it work with the new core structure and defaults that are overridden by the themes themselves…

yeah I’m a noob when it comes to coding. I can do aesthetic/css stuff but that’s about it. One of the minor bugs from a while ago occurs on single product pages with multiple photos. The large picture is supposed to change when you hover over each thumbnail, but doesn’t.

Today, I just noticed this at the top of my WP Dashboard. Is it anything I need to worry about?

“Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in …/public_html/wp-content/themes/TheJewelryShop/lib/engine/nws-admin-functions.php on line 2777 and defined in …/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990”

it does not effect your site in anyway… but is annoying for sure… this is one example of the wp3.5 update causing issues… BUT this leads to purchased items not being viewed in the manage orders management section of your wp-admin either… so these are like cockroaches :) squash one and then they multiply…
