Title says it all, what are the point of these HTML templates? It has no specific use other than visual appearance. Is it possible to integrate it onto a CMS?

Thanks!

Every website should have an admin panel where you can manage all the info / content and stuff, this is what admin templates are built for, they should be integrated into websites

Yes, but how easily are they integrated?

Let’s say I want to use a custom admin template with WordPress.

How would I do this?

you would need to learn how to code it, it will vary from different situations but knowing how to code is a must

In WordPress it’s extremely hard, if you’re not familiar with coding I think it’s almost impossible, they’re most of the times used in custom websites / frameworks where you can edit the html markup in any way you want

If you want to change the look of your WP Admin, then all you need to know for now is HTML,CSS and probably Javascript(JQuery).

Using admin templates for WordPress admin is not good example in my opinion – usually it’s better to leave it as it is, so users will not have to be retrained in using it…

Admin templates are rather for people (mostly programmers) who already have or are in the process of building a web application. It can be custom reporting dashboard for their shop, maybe a warehouse management system, a moderation panel for some discussion board or custom hosting panel or some crazy intranet thing for the corpo.., the point is they know how to generate html, but it does not look very nice, let’s get some nice looking item form themeforest! It also helps that admin templates being just simple html are not tied to any single application.
