I have used DW, Sublime Text 2, Notepad++, and while all three did get the job done, I didn’t really enjoy them much. Then I found Adobe Brackets and I’ve been in love with it since day 1 of using it. One thing I hate about Brackets, though – search & replace requires you to confirm every. single. replace. That’s why I just go to DW when I have to bulk replace. Also, Brackets seems to lag awfully when opening/editing minified files, JS for example. And as much as I love the live preview option, it just doesn’t work for me with 1 monitor. That’s why I’m buying a second one very very soon. ^^

I feel like an IE user.
I use Dreamweaver. Everytime I try to switch to another one i get frustrated.

the only reason i use DW is because of the syntax coloring. I am used to them (more than 8 years)! If i find another editor that does the same coloring i would switch without a thought!

I hate DW because it doesn’t support function Folding! You can fold code but you have to choose which lines to do and it isnt that handy!

Pretty sure that many editors let you set the syntax coloring yourself in preferences, Brackets probably has an extension for it.

The best is the one who make you feel comfortable.
Personally I started with Dreamweaver years ago and I’m addicted to its UI, also if is not the best one :)
