Just curious as to what setup people use for various production environments for creating websites, editing web pages, graphics and code etc.

Setup

  1. Machine: iMac 27 2.66 ghz 8 gig core i5
  2. Operating System: OS X10.8.2
  3. Browser: Firefox 19.0.2
  4. Browser Inspector: Firebug
  5. FTP: Mac Transmit
  6. IDE: Sublime text 2
  7. Graphics: Photoshop CS6

These are all I use, interested to see what other coders use.

Love these threads, always curious what people use :)

My setup is exactly like yours, only that I have:

1. Macbook Pro Retina 15” – i7, 16 GB RAM (placed on a Griffin Elevator)
5. FTP: FireFTP and Filezilla (for SSH)
+ HP w2408 24” monitor
+ iPad 4 and iPhone 5 for mobile testing (it can be done with the iOS simulator in Xcode, but nothing matches the exact experience you get on the real thing)

Hoping they release an update to the Thunderbolt Display this year…

Also, I was never able to switch to the Chrome dev tools. Don’t know why, perhaps I’m too used to Firebug (though I think Firebug got more UI things right).
