That would be me! But I’m absent from work very-very often, and my salary is ridiculously low.

Freelance graphic designer here. Using AJ as a nice little outlet for the musical side of me.

Software Engineer, mostly C# and SQL Server these days.

Writing music is much more interesting

Yeah, i agree, this is much more interesting. What is realy weird in my case – I allways wanted to be proffesional musician and physics was always some kind of hobby. Even when i studied physics I newer saw this as my profession. Now I get money for scientific research and do some music as a hobby.

I compose and produce music full time, but only the last 2 years since AJ has massively helped with exposure. While writing for AJ isn’t my “full time job”, I could live from marketplace income alone if I wanted to…... but the world is too large and full of opportunity to just stay in one place

Before being able to do what I do now full time, I worked as a graphics designer and ran my own small business. Before that…. I try not to remember

Um… you have a blurb below your avatar, Tim. When did you get that? Is that something exclusively for you Elite types?

Or is this another new feature I’ve missed by not paying attention?

I work as a multimedia producer for a national non-profit organization. I do a lot of interviews both audio and video and turn them into documentary style pieces that relate to the organization and its mission.

I work as a professional freelance composer, sound-designer and audio engineer full time since 4 years now. Built up my own litle studio in Berlin over 10 years ago, at first just for my own bands and projects – later on I got into the freelancing world step by step and then finally decided to fully jump into the cold waters… And it worked! Best decision of my life…

At the moment, AJ is mostly my new-found outlet for my ‘b-stock’ – meaning I mostly rework sketches I initially wrote for real-world-jobs that didn’t make it into the final production. But now I’m also beginning to write new tracks just for AJ – since my first weeks here really hooked me to the royalty free world – and AJ with its wonderful community in particular of course.

I am a law student. Though I do some freelance composing for small projects from time to time.
