Since joining March 2010, I’ve had:
6,125 Clickthroughs 3 Registered users 2 Deposits
Which makes up 0.39% of my total earnings
I’ve tried lots of things to boost the referrals, my most recent was to make a Twitter account which posted the latest WordPress themes from Themeforest, but schedule it so it only posted 1 every 2 hours between 9am and 10pm. I even had different tweet styles so it mixed things up a bit in the wording. IE: ‘Great theme just released, go check it out’ or ‘You should check out this amazing WordPress Theme for sale at $32’ etc etc
I left this running on it’s own accord for around 3 months, and that’s where I had the majority of my clickthroughs (5410) but had zero registrations and zero deposits. Therefore I stopped doing it.
It’s odd, as it was bringing people there, but it just wasn’t converting into registrations
1.04% – referals have never really hit off for me. With ~12000 clickthroughs, I’ve only had 10 registers and 7 deposits
Dude.. 12K clickthroughs.. you own a social network?!-inlife
It’s not really a big number. Here:
Totals: 26,055 (clicks) 84(registered) 64(deposits)
You should ask AJ how many clicks he has
435 – 4 registered and 1 deposit.
I think I’m having the best conversion rate here
Clicks 1,715 Sign-ups 31 Deposits 20
Totals: 8,235 registered 44 Deposits 30
@The guys above me – how come your clickthroughs result in so many more registered members? Those conversion rates are amazing!
I’d guess it’s a matter of where you put your referral links, ie. who you target with them…
Btw, I have 4 registered referrals and only 1 deposit so far, and the maximum clickthroughs I had per month was around 400, but now being a lot less… don’t ask me where they come from, I honestly don’t know probably just Twitter…
For this month: 3026 Clickthroughs 50 Registered Members 26 Deposits
17.6 % of my income in this month.
