Hi everybody,
This is going to be a public Poll so please share your opinion with us as it is important to us.

What kind of advertisement do you prefer to do on Facebook?

  • Sending Private Message to user’s inbox
  • Posting On Pages Walls
  • Posting in Groups
  • Paid Advertising

Do you have any other method for your advertising?

Thanks

Paid Advertising. Everything else you mentioned is considered spam.

I do none of those and I would only consider paid advertising. The others are shameless spamming techniques haha :)

We run paid advertising. Campaigns, but once approved I pause the news feed type and just run the right hand column ads, the news feed types achieve piddly conversion rates

I’ve done a lot of CPC advertising on Facebook, it usually converts really well.

Spamming links all over the place makes you look desperate and degrades your appeal :depressed:

If my targeted users was on Facebook (with some research) then I’ll do paid ads, or manually join and interacting on group, with some links posted sometimes :D

But basically in a user side, I hate all kind of ads in Facebook, especially that didn’t relevant to my interest at all. I found, visit and buying, in many website I found through Google. However it depends on your target market.

I don’t involve myself in advertising on Facebook at all. My only perspective is a user’s perspective; paid advertising is a necessary nuisance, all the others are just plain annoying and, indeed, on the verge of being spam.
