Dual hexacore intel xeon x5650 @2.66 occ’ed @3.2 (24 cores irl), watercooled, 24gb ECC DDR , about 3TB of hdd, including a tiiiiny 128 GB ssd, and a geforce quadro 4000. That’s what I use for rendering… when in desperate need due to moronically set out deadlines.
Otherwise, most of the modeling and overnight rendering happens on my old acer aspire dual core intel celeron 2 duo laptop with 4 gb ram, and geforce 9600m gt.
