So I’m currently working remotely for Envato and have been in Guatemala for almost 2 weeks now. It’s an incredible country with lots of exciting things to do – caving with candles, jumping into rushing rivers, hiking etc.. It got me thinking: – What adventures have you been on? - And do you have any great/ scary stories of your travels to share? I’ll definitely be adding some of my own! :D

When I was younger I loved all outdoor pursuits inc. Pot Holing. My fave was abseiling.

Once did a 100m abseil, without carribenas in the Derbyshire Peak district, near Edale. With the Derbyshire Police, on an outward bound course. It didnt go too well !

Years ago, when I was backpacking across western Europe. I was just outside Barcelona, hiking in the foothills of mount Tibidabo…

Surely the one happened few years ago to the mountains at Cima di Marta, a World War II italian militar base. Me and my family decided to visit the huge bunker that has been dug in the rock for hundred of meters here:

Very exciting and frightening. Only with some flashlight do deep in the mountain, with hundreds of steps in the complete darkness. (here you can find some images)

Wow. @Skillline, that made me laugh.

@charly_jp, I’ve never been to Hawaii, but I would love to go. Apparently you can see lava flowing into the ocean there!

@Australia, how did you get out of that one? Any broken bones?

@bouncy- always an adventure speaking to you guys. :)

@lifer-I’ve never been hiking in Barca, but it is a beautiful area.

@LcWeb – that photo looks incredible. I’ll check the other’s out for sure!
