What's the best performance laptop for design?

Buy a desktop. Great performance will be cheaper than a laptop. And you can get a cheap laptop or netbook to carry along, and do coding stuff

True, but I move around aot from A to B.. to visit clients business or use it in an aeroplane, train etc.

Would be great if it didn’t carry the blu-ray junk .. never found use for that (already own blu-ray dvd player)

I’m not a fan of toshiba to be honest, as I’m currently using one .. satellite L300 (for blogging). Battery lasts only 2 hours and the system is incredibly & painfully slow!

Do you currently have this laptop.. ?

What’s the best choice for a laptop with a battery that lasts about 6-7 hours? I only know Mac’s, most PC’s last about 2-3 hours.

My ASUS UL80A lasts 6 hours or so. Longer if you aren’t totally killing the PC with ridiculous multitasking, like I do

I’ve been trying to buy the ACER Aspire 4820TG for the last month but apparently nobody can fulfil the order Originally bought through Amazon (last in stock) but they couldnt find it in the warehouse. Went to PCWorld.co.uk, who as expected gave me the run around after charging me, so now Im back ordering through Amazon as they restocked but still no sign of my laptop and past its expected delivery date The whole experience has been pretty stressful tbh
