Hi, I am wondering which is the best option to withdraw the money from our Envato accounts. I have used the paypal option for the first years but then I changed to SWIFT. I have just noticed that from this months earning I lost almost $100 due to transfer fees. I don’t remember are there any paypal fees when you withdraw from Envato?

What’s your opinion on this one?

no. from the moment when the money leave envato and end in your pocket there’s no fee involved which I have to say is a good thing and hope will stay like that. :)

the only “fee” you pay is when you convert the money to your currency.

I use paypal, and then send it from paypal to my bank account. I have no fees whatsoever and since my account is a u$d account, I don’t suffer the currency convertion either.

I have also used payoneer in the past and is pretty good, as long as you are willing to use the card to spend the money in grocery stores and so on. If you want to widthraw the money from an ATM using payoneer card, the fees are crazy expensive.

I also use paypal which to me seems the one with least fees. It’s worth noting that while paypal mastercards were only available to americans a while ago, they are now available in more countries so worth checking, I have one in UK and I know you can have it in France too. Paypal mastercard will charge a fee for ATM withdrawals, but they don’t when you purchase items in store or online, which is what I do, so all in all I only have the initial currency conversion fee.

If you’re withdrawing money from Paypal to a card (not bank account), there is a $2.5 withdrawal fee + there’s a $500/day withdrawal limit.

But isn’t SWIFT the only option for withdrawing more than $500? http://support.envato.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/118

I think it’s only an option if your balance is over $500, rather than being the only option if your balance is over $500.

So if you have $4321 in your account, you can withdraw them all in one go, to Paypal?

I’ve never had that much in my account, so I can’t say for certain, but I’d guess so. I do some work on Elance and I’ve been able to withdraw about twice that in one go. Shouldn’t be any different with Envato… in theory!
