What's the demand of iPhone/mobile websites?

I’m thinking about designing and developing a blog/personal website (possibly Wordpress later on) for iPhones/iPod Touches/other mobile devices so I was wondering what the demand was for these types of sites.

In other words, is anyone particularly interested in these types but cannot find them on ThemeForest? If so, what would you like to see in terms of features.

I think the demand is high enough.

The mobile web is defiantly the future so I think people would be interested.

I think the main problem is how well Safari on iPhones/iPod Touches processes normal full-sized sites. You can easily zoom in to the stuff you want to read, so the demand may not be that high because of that.
