Hi guys,
Recently I’ve launched my first PSD , and yesterday my first HTML . If any of you will look, I managed to make a MASSIVE 10 $ out of the deal, selling two PSD files and no html’s till now. Sure, nobody was hoping to buy a Porche from the money he’d get off of a couple of items, but…wtf? And the problem is that I don’t think it’s only my theme that went wrong. I don’t know if I’m 100% right, but it seems that you can only be successful if your item gets featured. Again….what’s up…?:)
The thumbnail for both the PSD and HTML version say “PSD Template”.

Sorry for breaking it to you, but your item is also not really top notch .. There is a lot of competition on here and if you want sales you have to create really unique and great items.. Yours are just average imho..
- They both have “psd” in the thumbnail
- Exactly the same preview image
- The html responsive, doesn’t actually work
Actual image of the resized browser
- Things don’t actually function the sort’s don’t work in the portfolio area and nothing has mouseover effects
- It looks extremely thrown together and messy
Not to sound too harsh but I’m surprised it got accepted
Nice reaction from you guys, and thanks for pointing out a thing or two. Yes, I imagined that my work isn’t really revolutionary, but I was expecting at least some tens of sales from two releases, in any case NOT 2 !

tens of sales?!
I’ve just released an incredibly unique and high quality theme and it got <50 sales in a week and you were expecting tens of sales with yours?
welcome to the forest!
It was created today… after 3 months I’ve got about 50 sales on my first html template. The sooner you release you’re not going to make millions from your first template the better it’ll be for your sake. Use it as a learning curve, if people do buy it and ask for support, ask what they like and don’t like, improve on it, add functions that no other website has, add mouseover effects that just make the user involved.
@ben
I’m not sure why you’re saying that it’s messy and thrown together, don’t forget, it’s an HTML template not a Wordpress one. It also has a PHP version which you can throw on your server and it will 100% certainly work. In HTML , you’re not allowed to actually do too much but server the “mock-up”.
And if you’re going to zoom in instead of resizing the browser, you’ll see that the fonts are extremely user friendly. No offense, but I would never “throw” something up there because I was expecting quite a few sales.
Anyway, thanks for the PSD thing, it completely slipped!
