Hi!! As title says, I’d like to know where do you upload items after being rejected, if you still think the item is good enough for selling? Would be nice and helpful for newbies like me, and I hope this topic doesn’t affects this forum’s purpose. Do you use generalist marketplaces? or specific for stock photos and so on?

Given that it is against forum rules to promote or call out competitor sites etc I do not think this is going to go very far.

If your file gets rejected it is an opportunity to improve. Never give up!

indeed, do not give up right from the first rejection. You can also ask for community feedback if you need ideas for improvement.

Here’s some suggestions for you – just because an item isn’t accepted doesn’t mean it isn’t good enough at all (I’m presuming in this case it IS good, just not accepted for whatever reason). But that’s for one of the other many forum threads ;)

So… what to do.

  • There are other marketplaces (that’s all)
  • Give away on your site as promotion.
  • Sell on your own site and start to add to this collection with any other themes ‘not accepted’ to increase your earning potential from 1 place to 2 (quite important really to NOT have all your income coming from one place only)

Hope that helps!

Some great words of advice there, Alex! I’ve had plenty of rejections in my time as an author too. This quote from basketball player Michael Jordan always keeps me going:

“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”Michael Jordan

Really inspiring.

Michael Jordan was denied to play in his high school team.

Always remember, the Ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic by professionals !

Theres a moral in there somewhere ;)
