I left Spain at the age of 17, went to England to study mainly English and then my degree and masters. Spent there 8 and a half years in total. But I was quite sick of the ever lasting winter, grey skies, and English bureaucratic crap. So a friend and I took a globe ( the ones you usually find on a classroom of geography) we spun it round, and made it stop by pointing blindly on it. My finger stopped the globe in Bangkok, and His in Panama. After a discussion we decided to move to Bangkok, and so here I been for 4 years now going for the fifth, and loving it.![]()
Nice !
Well I allways wanted to live in Spain, and just about 3 hours ago I have arived there after a really long way. Hope it will great

I live in México, and though A never identified with it, I do like some sides of the culture. (not at all the way is portrayed in the movies, btw). ?br>

I’m from Los Angeles, so I’m not far from Mexico (been there 30 times). one of my top 5 favorite places is Cancun (the whole list would be Boracay, Philippines; Barbados; Aruba; Barcelona, Spain).

I love living in Australia, but I’ve always wanted to live overseas for a while, ideally Mexico or Brazil. Those countries have all the things I love, good weather, surfing and latin/brazilian dancing!

Actually we’re very close! I live in Tijuana, and I go to L.A. maybe once a month.
Interesting topic!
After living 1 year in Budapest (which was great!) I am now living for some time in my home country (Portugal) but I plan to go away again very soon! As I am now full time with envato, I have flexibility, but I don’t make enough money yet to move to a more expensive country, so I have no idea where to go!!
At some point I would like to go to Australia or Brazil, but I guess now winter is coming, so i’ll stay in Europe for this summer, trying also to get my income to rise a bit.
Maybe Germany is an option, as I already had the central Europe experience with Budapest and my girlfriend doesn’t want to go to the Baltic or Balkans. She’s from Italy, I wouldn’t mind spending some time there, but she’s a bit tired of Italy and all the bad politic stuff happening there.
I even considered Marroco. Any other advise?

I think u r right…
@Fillerspace:
Boracay, Philippines? Yes on the pictures. But the reality is that Boracay became a party place like Phuket in Thailand. And its also very expensive. Not only compare to the Philippines but generally. But there is a lot of non popular places. For example Palawan. Normal prices, more authentic and untouched by the commercialism. For now…
