Actual Information About Our Products
(Just kidding. This is a dead link that one of our interns has been trying to figure out how to remove since his boss asked him to last June. It says he knows Dreamweaver on his resume, which he copied word for word from some website. But his uncle owns an NFL team, so odds are he’ll be okay. He’ll be taking care of this just as soon as he finishes “Post-It Mountain” and figures out whether the receptionist is single and/or interested.)

I preferred when websites were drawn pixel by pixel and the coolness factor was how small everything could be with mystery navigations and you spend most of the time trying to find content, and fonts weren’t bigger than 8 pixels high lol… now buttons are like 300 pixels x 200 pixels and anything 1 pixel is redundant.. things have changed. – also I’m really showing my age now :P

I’m trying to introduce some new elements to ThemeForest with the current Creative theme I’m working on. Hopefully, people will like it ( buy it ).

I think the reason is Usability > Creative templates (as they may be confusing and overwhleming to some clients/buyers)

That’s SO funny! Because that SO true! And it’s also a bit sad, actually.

I agree with this, because sometimes I don’t implement some stuff because of the lamme IE. And even IE 10 combined with Windows 8 is still causing trouble…
Anyway, honestly, when I release a new theme, I try to combine something that I think that will have good sales with my own style. Being Themeforest the main income for most authors, I think we all have to worry about the potencial number of sales.

I can’t take many more of the big, boxed-or-fullwidth, huge fancy layer slider, 4-column services, 4-column portfolio items, 4-column blog posts, big footer, cardboard cutout themes. Any more and I think I’m going to throw up. Mike put it perfectly on his site a few months ago: http://mikemcalister.com/you-can-do-better-things/

Maybe Mike can show us how to do it then, because looking at the themes that he sells, I can’t see much creativity not to mention some of them might not even be approved on TF :P
