Thanks guys!

Well, I’ve noticed now, that the file IS working when you access it directly: http://countryclubs.com/wp-content/themes/CountryClubs/map/map.swf

However, when I have it embeded, the links don’t work for some reason. My embed code is below:

<object id="map" align="" height="400" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="550" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0">
<param name="movie" value="http://countryclubs.com/wp-content/themes/CountryClubs/map/map.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<param name="wmode" value="transparent" />
<embed name="map" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" src="http://countryclubs.com/wp-content/themes/CountryClubs/map/map.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" align="" height="400" quality="high" width="550" bgcolor="#ffffff"></embed>
</object>

Because the Flash file directly accesses the HTML page, you need to allow it to do so with allowscriptaccess, just as if you had interaction between Flash and javascript.

It’s a funky thing, but targeting “_blank” does not need this access because you are pulling up a new window. Only targeting “_self” requires this.

Hey guys. I appreciate ALL the help. I finally got this fixed with the help of Steve Thorpe (theflyingtinman). He is a scholar and a gentleman.

Thanks all!
